The certification scope comprises Designing and Manufacturing Advanced Composite Structures and Assemblies for the Aerospace Industry. AS9100 Certification is the gold standard in the aviation industry and has been adopted worldwide as the quality management standard for aerospace manufacturing. It incorporates all the concepts of ISO9001, while adding new requirements relating to aerospace operations. All major aerospace manufacturers and suppliers command compliance with AS9100 as a condition of doing business.

Upgrading our quality management system to the stringent AS9100 quality assurance standard will facilitate strategic teaming opportunities for VX in the aerospace market, especially in the defense sector, said Mr. Raymond Jones, CEO of VX Aerospace.
