VX Aerospace Corporation of Morganton, NC and Commerce Overseas Corporation of Kinston, NC, have joined forces to manufacture and supply advanced composite parts for foreign and domestic aircraft. We are very pleased to work with Commerce Overseas. There is tremendous synergy between the two companies, says Raymond Jones, CEO of VX Aerospace. VX Aerospace manufactures advanced composite parts for military aircraft and Commerce Overseas sources aircraft parts, including composite parts, for customers all over the world. I met Ray at a North Carolina Aerospace Alliance meeting at the Global TransPark in Kinston, NC. We knew right away we would be working together in the near future, said Chris Garville, CEO of Commerce Overseas.
That fact that VX Aerospace is a local NC company makes it even better, added Garville. Established in 1967, Commerce Overseas manufactures and supplies aerospace parts for U.S. military aircraft operating in more than 50 countries. Its clients include the U.S. military, Coast Guard and foreign countries. Subcontractors fabricate the parts and send them to Commerce Overseas, which inspects them and then ships them to clients. www.commerceoverseas.com
